Nationwide Talent Hunt
In 2020, Shorya was selected in a nationwide talent hunt by India’s largest TV network “Network 18” for a National TV Program ‘The Young Genius’ showcasing child prodigies. The selection jury included Niti Ayog CEO “Mr Amitabh Kant”, Managing Editor of CNBC-India “Ms Shereen Bhan”, Padma Shri Awardee “Shri Mohan Das Pai” among others. The show interviewed over 20,000 children to finally select 22 across various areas of super- specialization. Despite the Jury selection more than one child in several categories where they saw the competition as being very close among children, Shorya given his unique talent & its execution was the only child in the country selected in the Robotics & Engineering category. The show was aired on Jan 15th 2021 on CNN India and then on 14 Channels across 26 States in 15 languages. Here is the link to the full TV episode featuring Shorya Bhasin: YouTube
Mr Sonam Wangchuk
With over 400 patents, Mr Wangchuk is one of only 5 Indians in the World with such a high number of registered patents. In addition to being an eloquent scientist, Mr Wangchuk is also a gallantry awardee of India’s Maha Vir Chakra. We are honoured to share with you that Mr Wangchuk has been kind and generous enough to have offered to mentor Shorya at his base science lab in Ladakh.

Patent Filing
Shorya has filed for his first patent along with his Robotics Team for a physiotherapy device which works as an artificial psychotherapist. It consists of wearable tech and a mobile app. The device itself consists of thin light weight limbs and electronically powered joints, which can be strapped onto the user’s arms or legs. The artificial joints move the wearers limbs along with them, flexing and relaxing muscles in the body thereby conducting physiotherapy. There are numerous exercises that the device can conduct that fight physical injuries and selective muscular diseases. Shorya led the design and building of this device.
